About Cody
I started riding in Ontario around the age of eight, exploring trails and learning the basics. After moving to Alberta, I picked up a mountain sled in 2016, which introduced me to mountain riding. What began as weekend trips slowly turned into a true passion — so much so that I eventually quit my winter job and moved to Sicamous, BC, riding all winter for three years to improve my skills.
During that time, I completed my OPS Level One certification and my 80-hour Wilderness First Aid, which led to a job at Carl Kuster Mountain Park in Malakwa, BC, where I acquired his CMBGA Certification. I’ve been guiding with them for two years and am currently working toward OPS Level Two training, continuing to learn as much as possible from CKMP.
I’ve always had a passion for teaching — whether it’s running heavy equipment or riding snowmobiles. Moving into clinics allows me to combine my love for backcountry riding with sharing the skills I’ve gained over years of experience.
I’m really excited to get out on the snow with you and help you grow as a rider!
